I woke up, and I was really stressed. I was planning on working for Instacart, but then I realized that it’s my last day of my online class, and I wasn’t done with my homework. I was stuck on part of it, and I’d been avoiding it. So, I had to start working pretty much as soon as I woke up.
I worked and watched TV for hours. Honestly, it’s probably not the most efficient way of working, but it’s less stressful for me to watch TV while working. I was just starting to figure something out when I had to take Erica to violin. Erica’s violin teacher is retiring, and she wanted to see me again before she retired. I drove Erica to her violin teacher’s house, and we were a little early; we waited in the car for a little bit because we didn’t want to disturb the student before Erica.
We went inside, and were greeted by Erica’s violin teacher’s dog Cookie. Cookie is HUGE, but so cute. Every time I got with Erica to her violin lesson, Cookie also wants butt rubs. I said hi to Erica’s violin teacher, and she asked me about school and whether or not I’m still playing the viola. The answer is no, by the way. When she was down asking me questions, Erica started her lesson. I just worked on my homework and played with Cookie, while listening to Erica play. It was a little hard to work with Cookie nudging me, but I figured out my problem in my homework assignment. The small problem was that I didn’t have WiFi, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot. Using too much data gives me even more anxiety than I already have, but I needed to do it.
When Erica was done, we said goodbye to her violin teacher and headed home. We were going to stop by our mom’s office, but she didn’t answer out texts until we’d already passed by, so that didn’t really work out. We got home in a pretty short amount of time, and I watched more TV when we got there. The only thing left that I had to do for my homework was write a short report, so I put it off a little longer.
My mom came home, and she wanted to do our workout for the day. At that point, I had just started my report, so I was a little salty that Erica and my mom didn’t let me finish it first, but I got over it. We exercised for a little under an hour, and my dad prepared dinner. We were really grateful that he did because we were hungry after the workout. He heated up the bulgogi from Costco that my parents keep buying. At this point, I’m sick of it, but it’s food.
After dinner, I went and finished my homework. It really felt like crunch time because everything was due at midnight on the east coast, which means 9 pm here. I was working pretty much up until nine. But, after, it was really satisfying to be done with my online class, so I went and watched more Arrow. I actually stayed up pretty late because I wasn’t satisfied with the endings of each episode, so I watched through the finale of the first season.
