I finally beat teenage pregnancy! Not that I was really worried, but there’s not that much to celebrate on a 20th birthday.
Erica and I didn’t have any plans for the first half of the day, other than packing our bags. From Tuesday to Saturday, we were going to Sun River in Oregon. Usually, we go to Lake Chelan, but my mom wanted to do something different this year. I have a serious problem with over-packing, so packing took a long time. I’m also really indecisive, so that doesn’t help either.
A little after noon, my mom came home. She’d taken half of the day off from work to spend time with us. Erica and I were pretty much done packing and we were ready to eat lunch. I didn’t really want to leave the house, so my dad made lunch. We had spam musubi and leftovers. We needed to eat the food in our fridge before we left.
After lunch, Erica and I didn’t have anything to do, so we watched TV. It was really relaxing, which was good because I felt a little sick. I think it’s because I still had to catch up on sleep. We watched TV for a bit before my mom asked us to run errands with her. Erica didn’t want to go, but the rest of us went. We weren’t out for very long, which made me glad. I was already tired. I got Starbucks because of the free birthday drink. It was my first time getting a trenta-sized drink. It was huge; I even felt like I had to share it with Erica because I didn’t think I was going to finish it.
When we got home, I watched more TV with Erica. I was still trying catch up on Arrow because Erica had watched all of it except season 5, so she was waiting for me. She wanted to watch season 5 together, but I felt bad because it was taking a while for me to get there.
It was a really relaxing birthday, though, which is my favorite kind of birthday. I ate my cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory, later in the day. I always get salted caramel cheesecake, but it never gets old. Happy Birthday to me!
