My mom’s friends were staying at our house, and they’d decided the night before that they wanted to go crabbing. My dad researched where to crab and found out that they could do it at a nearby beach. They left our house at 7 am to go crabbing, but Erica and I didn’t wake up until later. I woke up at around 8 and scrolled on my phone while laying in bed.

Erica and I stopped by our neighbor’s house to water her flowers before we went to volunteer at the animal shelter. There was some traffic, and I was annoyed about it because we were already running late. We’re supposed to start volunteering at 10 am, but we got there at exactly at 10 and still had to walk in, so we started a little late.

We’ve been wanting to go see the Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum, so we were planning to go. We left at around 9 am to pick up everyone that was going with us. Eunice was going to come with us, but she had a last minute emergency, so she couldn’t. Erica’s best friend, Ella, was going with us and so were Mae and Bri – the kids from church. My mom agreed to watch them for the day to give their parents a break.

I woke up, and I was really stressed. I was planning on working for Instacart, but then I realized that it’s my last day of my online class, and I wasn’t done with my homework. I was stuck on part of it, and I’d been avoiding it. So, I had to start working pretty much as soon as I woke up.

We all woke up fairly early, considering it was a holiday, and we made our plans for the day. We planned to go to Bainbridge Island to go to a street fair for the 4th of July. My mom wanted to go with one of her friends whose daughter is also my friend.

I woke up and I was fairly sore from the hike the day before. I stretched before making my way downstairs. Erica and I ate breakfast before heading out to go to Safeway.

It was around 9:30 in the morning. We’d been up for an hour and were heading to Seattle to pick up my mom’s friends. On the car ride there, I watched Arrow on my phone. DON’T WORRY, I wasn’t streaming; I pre-downloaded 5 episodes on Netflix. No data loss there.

It was Saturday, and I was planning to sleep in, but I ended up waking up earlier than usual. I woke up at 7:45 before rolling over and going back to sleep. I actually got out of bed at around 9. I went downstairs to see what my family was up to.

Today’s TV (well, today’s movie)
I woke up at around 9 and immediately got ready to go to the animal shelter. I was about to be trained to interact with cats and help them find homes. Because I love cats so much, I was super excited. I even had Erica check on our neighbor’s cat for me so that the cats at the shelter didn’t smell Sydney’s scent on me.

I’m really sorry for being behind on posting, I’ve actually been doing things! Hopefully, starting tomorrow, I’ll be writing a couple of posts a day from now on to try and catch up! To be honest, I don’t even know if anyone will read this, but that’s okay. I just have to prove to myself that I can keep a diary of some sort, since I was so bad at it as a kid.
