This day marks the start of an exciting two-week reunion. My cousins from the Philippines, Dione and DJ, were visiting, so we did a lot of things. My parents actually had to pick them up from the airport at seven in the morning. I offered to go, but my mom insisted that she’d go.

I woke up today without any plans, really, but it turned out to be a pretty busy day. We went to a plant nursery, we went out to eat, and I went to my boyfriend’s house for dinner.

We’ve been wanting to go see the Infinity Mirrors exhibit at the Seattle Art Museum, so we were planning to go. We left at around 9 am to pick up everyone that was going with us. Eunice was going to come with us, but she had a last minute emergency, so she couldn’t. Erica’s best friend, Ella, was going with us and so were Mae and Bri – the kids from church. My mom agreed to watch them for the day to give their parents a break.

We all woke up fairly early, considering it was a holiday, and we made our plans for the day. We planned to go to Bainbridge Island to go to a street fair for the 4th of July. My mom wanted to go with one of her friends whose daughter is also my friend.

It was around 9:30 in the morning. We’d been up for an hour and were heading to Seattle to pick up my mom’s friends. On the car ride there, I watched Arrow on my phone. DON’T WORRY, I wasn’t streaming; I pre-downloaded 5 episodes on Netflix. No data loss there.

I was so tired. I’m starting to sound like a broken record; I’m always tired. I went downstairs to watch some TV and do my homework. I’m always behind on homework, even though I’m just taking one summer class.

It was 7 in the morning. My mom knocked on my door and woke me up from an actual good night of sleep. My dad had someone coming to the house to look at the vents and the furnaces, so I had to take Erica to her biotech camp that started at 9. I didn’t actually get out of bed until 7:30 when I quickly got dressed. Then, Erica and I went to go check on Sydney before leaving.

Even though church started at 9, I woke up at around 8 so that I could go check on my neighbor’s cat, Sydney. They’re on vacation for a week, so I got to take care of her. When Erica and I got to our neighbor’s house, Sydney was sitting on one of the beds and didn’t want to move. I pet her for a little bit, and she was SO SOFT.

Erica and I had an uneventful morning as we waited for Eunice and Jasper to show up to our house. We’d been planning our trip to Seattle for weeks and we were so ready to go to Pridefest. We were originally going to go to the parade, but I had to volunteer on Sunday, so we just went to the festival. At around 10, Eunice and Jasper got to our house, and we were ready to leave.

I woke up fairly late after an unrestful night, but I knew I had things to do. My dad and I went to AT&T in the morning because I was going to get a new phone. In the car, on the way there, it started sprinkling. After we parked, we quickly got out of the car and shuffled into the store.
